I really am in the mood for a nice hot bath. With some kind of nice bath salts or oils or something. And candles. And soft music.
Except I have that weird aversion to porcelin, and I can't really think of a tub that I'd be willing to sit my bare ass on.

Well, you could lay some towels down in the bottom of the tub first...
I actually used to do that when I was little! My dad's tub was old, from the 70's and it was stained and some of the tiles were decaying so it really grossed me out and sometimes I would lay a towel down, lol.
Have you considered getting a cast iron tub?
You could get one of those antique claw-feet tubs and bathe in true decadence...
