Glen- I didn't have to do anything to save the content. The skins use special blogger tags if you look at it with $$ signs. Those contain the posts and comments and dates and stuff. The only thing I had to make sure I still kept were my codes for blogrolling, stat counter, the buttons, and other customized things I did.
